The Colle Zukertort Fianchetto System Trainer

Learn the fianchetto version of the Colle, where your bishop shines on b2!

1. Basic Zukertort Setup

The Zukertort System starts like a regular Colle but adds b3 and Bb2, giving White powerful control of the long diagonal.

  1. Pawn to d4 – Take the center.
Everything begins by controlling the middle — it opens roads for your pieces.
  2. Knight to f3 – Defend and develop.
Your knight protects d4 and gets ready for castling.
  3. Pawn to e3 – Lock the center and free the bishop.
  4. Bishop to d3 – Aim at h7 like before — but with a new friend coming on b2.
  5. Pawn to b3 – Prepare to fianchetto!
This opens the path for your light‑squared bishop to join from the queenside.
  6. Bishop to b2 – The star move!
Now both bishops point toward the enemy king — double power!
  7. Castle kingside (O‑O) – Safety first.
Your king is safe and your officers are ready to attack together.

It’s like the Colle System with extra sparkles — calm opening, bright bishop!
